Frank Stapleton

Weldon Frank Stapleton passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 52. He was born December 11, 1972 in Longview, Texas to Ernest Fredrick and Margaret Jean (Sears) Stapleton.

He enjoyed spending time with family. Не was a longtime Karaoke singer and loved country music, especially George Strait. Frank was a longtime employee of the Brookshires Grocery Chain and loved his coworkers and his job. In his off time he lived to travel, go fishing and eat good food. He loved Jesus Christ and followed his teachings.

Frank is preceded in death by his father, Ernest F. Stapleton, Jr. and mother, Margaret J. Stapleton.

He is survived by his sister, Sharon Colleen Holley and her husband, Dennis Jeffrey Holley of Tyler, Tx; brother, Ernest F. Stapleton III and uncle, Robert Westbrook Sears of Tyler, Tx; nephews, Christopher Michael Meler, Jeffrey Austin Holley and Travis Allen Holley; great nephews, Hayden Meler, Rodrigo Holley and Domingo Holley and great niece, Anahleе Rulyne Meler, all of Tyler, Tx and several cousins.

Visitation, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025 at Pleasant Hills Baptist Church, 13590 Hwy 110 S., Tyler, Texas 75707.

Graveside will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, 1:00 PM at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery, off 7th Street near the intersection of 7th and W. California Street in Sulphur Springs, Texas with Chaplain Charles Kimble officiating and under the direction of Brosang Family Funeral & Cremation Services.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Holley, Travis Holley, Christopher Meler, Patrick Conner, Michael Conner, James Whitlow.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earnest F. Stapleton III & Robert W. Sears and Brookshires Grocery Company co-workers.
