Ronnie Stapleton

Ronnie Stapleton was born on June 11, 1953, to Bob Junior and Martha (Long) Stapleton in Grapevine, Texas.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.

He is survived by his sons, Doug Stapleton of Whitehouse and Jeff Stapleton and his wife, Laura, of Weatherford; brothers, James Stapleton of Decatur, Tim Burgess of Southlake, Robbie Burgess of Denton; sisters, Mary Jo Wood of Southlake, Shirley Foster of Keller, and Karen Smalley of Houston; and grandchildren, Chelsea, Natalie, Tori, Samantha, and Emma.

Ronnie loved his family, friends, and the great outdoors. He proudly served as a firefighter for the City of Arlington for thirty-three years and later owned a successful cattle business in Yantis, Texas.

Per his wishes, there will be no public or private service. A gathering to honor Ronnie's life will be held at a later date, with details to be posted on Facebook.
