Patrick Vincent McAllister

Patrick Vincent McAllister, age 61, formerly of Winsted, Connecticut passed from this life on Monday, January 27, 2025 in Tyler, Texas. He was the husband of Reneé McAllister and the brother of Elizabeth Prevalla McAllister and Victoria McAllister.

He was born in 1963 in Hartford, Connecticut to Thomas James McAllister and Linda Ann Mills McAllister. He joined the Army after he graduated from the Gilbert School in Winsted, Connecticut and served at Fort Ord, California and USAG Wiesbaden (Frankfort) Germany. He worked for more than twenty years at the Temple Inland Building Materials in Diboll, Texas.

Patrick was known for his sense of humor, his big smile, and his big hugs. He was a kind person and often helped his neighbors and friends. Patrick enjoyed music and played in his High School band. He loved art, including drawing, painting and calligraphy. He painted murals and other things in his hometown. He was handy with tools and enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Patrick was a man of Faith whose life was focused on being a Godly man and showing love and kindness to others.

He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas James McAllister; mother, Linda Ann Mills McAllister and his brother, Michael James McAllister.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Wadean Reneé McAllister; sisters, Elizabeth Prevalla McAllister and Victoria McAllister; his children, JaCi Kay Havard and Sean McAllister and grandchildren, Traylee and Michael. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Stacie Hadley and her children, Kendra, Kody, Kiara and Konnor; his step-daughter, Charlotte Wiggs and her husband, Justin Wiggs and their children, Preston and Sophie; his step-daughter, Erika Oliver and her children, August, Eleanor, Declan and Solomon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Visitation, 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Brosang Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 13437 Hwy 110 S., Tyler, Texas 75707, a Celebration of Life following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Russell Lormand and Rev. Bruce Watson officiating.

Graveside Service will be 11:15 AM, Friday, February 21, 2025 at Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
